School's starting!

HAPPY 2010! I still don't feel like it's a new year, probably cos school hasn't start yet. Damn, I'm really not looking forward to school starting but more about it later! :(

The first few days of 2010 has passed by in a whirlwind. I love working at Kumon and seeing all my cute kids. At least now I know even if I don't love being a teacher, I will never hate it because I like working with kids.

Other than working, I've been busy planning ROU's 21st bdae celebration with Amira & PX. Totally had a few scares along the way due to miscommunication. But everything worked out pretty well :))

It's really so super shiok to have your friend driving you around & Amira's skills are definitely quite good. Felt really safe in her hands. HAHAHAH. Here's wishing she'll buy a car soon so next time when we go out, she can drive us around! XD

Went to Botanic Gardens for a picnic followed by supper at Changi Airport later at night. Shall not blog about it now, until the photos are out on FB so I can grab some and post it here! All I can say is, it's definitely a memorable day & night!

When we were at Botanic Gardens, I went to visit my old work place & I saw the ranger I used to work with! I kind of forgot his name so I didn't call out to him when I walked past him but he remembered me & called me so I was rather pleasantly surprised. He's quite nice so I'm really glad he was the one on duty instead of the others. Caught up for a bit and he showed me his son's recent photos, uber cute! Maybe next time his son will be in my class! HAHAHAHA.

Speaking of school, I'm really totally dreading school starting. I don't know why. This time, I just want the holidays to go on forever.

Checked out the master timetable and I spied a Thursday lecture from 6.30pm - 7.30pm! :(( The fact that Dr Ludwig is lecturing does not save it. School hasn't even started and I feel like skipping that lecture already.

Then to make things worse, I went to Blackboard (god knows why) and I read the course outline for ALS101. If it's possible to make me dread school starting even more, this did. ALS sounds cheem and I think it involves writing a research paper. Totally the bane of my life.

WHY WHY WHY is the second sem so... AAE104 please come back. I so much prefer you :(

I better stop now, because this post is so whiny even I can't stand it!
