YAY! Thanks to our dear next door neighbours, we had a somewhat happening night :)
Seriously, it seems like if you don't go to hall camp, you are sort of excluded or kept out in the loop about hall activities. I don't think they did it deliberately, probably the information just got disseminated around within people who know each other ie. all the people who went to camp.
& if you don't go to camp and majority of the people went to camp, majority of the people in hall know each other and have somewhat bonded. Even if they invite you to the activities, you might feel rather awkward and it becomes the stick with your own clique kind of thing again.
Ystd, they have this gathering thing outside our block. A rather large grp of people were having fun at the open space next to our block and when Effie and I saw them, we were wondering like what kind of gathering it was, and at the same time, whining about how bored and unhappening we were.
Then, our next door neighbours stepped in and saved the night! They suddenly knocked on our door and reduced us to laughters with their tribal, mud masked face. Was asked to join their 'mask' party and we enthusiastically joined in, courtesy of their mask.
After that, with 4 of our faces covered in the mud mask, we proceeded to walk around the campus surroundings to 'scare' people. It was so hilarious and we were so super high for some reason. We waved to random people walking around, walked by some rooms and smiled at the people inside there. We even gave ourselves names like 'Hei Lu Lu', 'Char Kway Teo' and whatever. HAHAHAHAH. It was the funniest night by far in NTU.
And we got to know our next door neighbours, so we're no longer anti-social creatures in Palau NTU okays! :)
p.s don't like AED105!
