i finally booked my basic theory test date. finally. smth to strike out on my to-do list.

went with chengyin to book the test date ystd. it was a reallyy eventful day.

first, i didn't bring my IC & i only realised i had to when i met cy at her hse there & she asked me about it. we tried calling around to see whether it was necessary to bring it & whether we could use student pass as an alternative but it turns out, everybody's still sleeping! so we decided to go back to my hse to take the IC. oh wells, at least we found out when we were still in hougang, & not when we were registering.

then when we were on the bus to the comfort driving centre, we got so busy talking, that cy completely forgot about looking out for the centre & we nearly missed our stop! luckily, we saw the centre just in time & managed to press the bell just as the bus was preparing to close the door. somemore we were on the 2nd deck so it was a mad rush down the stairs & out the bus.

when we reached the centre, we were quite clueless about where we're supposed to go what to do. anyway, we waited in this room for ages until our number was called. we went up to the counter just to be told we had to go to another room to register cos we were registering as self study candidates. urgh!

we headed to said room & waited AGAIN, and at least this time, nth went wrong. we went off happily for lunch after that. =)

renee & huishan came over to my hse for the xmas exchange plus baking of cookies. i was quite tired cos i had only like 4 hrs of sleep the night before but luckily, i managed to catch another 1hr+ of sleep to revitalise myself before meeting rn.

then we started the baking process! it's been some time since i baked cookies but we followed the recipe, making some changes of our own on the way. we spent quite a long time whisking the butter and sugar cos the last time i baked, my dad said he could see/ taste/ whatever the sugar grains.

at first i though we might fail as bakers cos the dough seemed quite dry but fortunately, we succeeded! what a sense of achievement huh. LOL. although the cookies were abit too sweet but well, i still like it! i think the chocolate chips helped alot, cos they were from hershey and were erm, quite delicious on its own. rn kept 'coup-ing' it lah! sorry, i caught you okays! XD

huishan only reached when we were near finishing the baking. but she helped to baked some of them too. & she provided a lot of comic relief when we were baking cos she was so troubled about buying rn's gift for the xmas exchange, she kept calling us for opinions and generally sounding quite stressed.

so, i want to say a huge THANK YOU to renee! i loved the xmas gift. that girl gave me jodi picoult's ninteen minutes! ahhh! i've been wanting to buy it for a long time, since it came out i think. XD i was quite surprised when i got it cos... okays, you know why right. i can't wait to read it!

to huishan too for her gifts from thailand: the cat keychain is reallyyy super cute lah! i like it a lot. & the paper holder & hello kitty tin can. thanks many!

& of course, i can't forget to thank rouhui for her xmas gift too, cos i picked her gift in the xmas exchange between her, me, pikxuan & amira. thanks thanks thanks! i think the espirit notebook is really classy & the clip is adorable too. =)
