my second student

i had my tuition with my second student. a china girl who's having tuition for just english. she's very.. friendly, for lack of a better word. she keeps asking me all sorts of questions with nothing to do with el, trying to engage me in conversation. i think she prob does it to avoid doing or listening to me tutor her about el. cos she dislikes english very very much!

when i start teaching her about el, she will keep looking at the table, sigh, say she's sleepy or bored, imitate me or pretends she understands even before i explain by saying "i know" but when i ask her, can't tell me anything. i really want to smack her or shake her sometimes. i mean, your parents spend money to hire a tutor for you, the most you can do is at least pretend to pay attention & look interested in what the tutor is talking about. she doesn't even do the homework i gave her.

i don't care! i swear i'm going to get her interested in el! but i have to do it in like a few short months. cos when the new term starts, if schoolwork gets so busy i have to drop a student, i think i have to drop her. cos just teaching english is so much harder than teaching 3 subjects. & you'll prob run out of topics faster.

but she's an ok girl outside tuition so i guess, its ok. & i rather like teaching. i should have take up tuition earlier!

going out with px tml to shop! i wanna buy my jeans. i swear i'm gonna buy them by next week! really! i'm not sure what we're shopping for tml, prob jeans & tees? cos px hasn't decide which to buy. after that, i'm going tjc to support the event may helped to organized, Temasek Idol. meeting rn, hs & ym! yay!
