dinner at deb's

went to deb's hse on sat to have dinner. met px at a bus stop near my hse to take bus 136 to hougang mall. as usual, we were late. HAHA. okies, it was cos of me. i was tired after my CDS sho i fell asleep while waiting for 4.15pm to come.

surprisingly, we were not the last to arrive. instead, px & i were the 2nd to arrive. rh was super on time. sho, she had to wait for us. as usual. LOL.

we wanted to have a steamboat dinner at first but then decide to change to spaghetti instead becos we have only like 5 ppl? kind of troublesome to prepare steamboat dinner. we started shopping for the ingredients. went a bit crazy imagining the food we would cook. xD bought meatball, jin zhen gu (a type of mushroom), meat crust, egg tofu (my fav!), spaghetti sauce and fruits. the amount came up to $30+ including the things deb bought for her household. but, it was really quite cheap in the end. after calculating what we had to pay, it was like only $2.6 each. i bought a can of carbonara spaghetti sauce for my family too. =)

back at deb's hse, we did the cooking. von was in charge of cutting the things. we snatch to slice the tofu. HAHA. deb cooked the spaghetti. px, rh, & i were like standing there & watching them do at first. BUT we earned our dues soon, can? three of us cooked the soup.

the soup was really yummy can? not that i'm blowing my own trumpet but i have to say we did pretty well. LOL. how hard can it be aniwae? we jus dropped the chicken stock cubes into the boiling water, then added the soy sauce, sesame oil, pepper, and the ingredients. meat crust, meatball, mushroom & finally the tofu!

proceeded to the spaghetti sauce after that. by 6+pm, we were all done! yay! time to tuck in. =)

had a great time eating and talking and laughing. it was a simple but delicious dinner & i was super full after that! we still ate mini cornettos + marks & spencers choc biscuits.

p.s amira, din ask you along cos we planned to have a steamboat dinner at first & you had to eat halal. it was kind of hard to coordinate but.. no worries, we can have our own dinner soon! =)
